So rare to have found these cuties, and especially together as I believe they were intended to be. Maybe something tied to a lazy summer day, as they both seem so relaxed. So Much detail work to each of these, and they are both amazingly free from damage.
No chips, cracks, or stains. They are both signed Capodimonte on their lower sides. It's a mark that bears a crown with the signature letter "N" below it. This letters stands for "Neapolitan, " which is a mark of high quality rooting from the Royal Factory in Napes since 1759. The boy comes with its Certificato Di Garanzia that is numbered as shown in the pictures.
There's some wear to this card, and a piece of tape on it from being on the base of the boy. The boy is 8 tall. He's perched atop of an oil can with his foot resting on a discarded tin can.His eyes are crossed focusing on his large bubble; his cheeks are flushed from blowing; his left hand clasps 3 new sticks of gum; he looks to be there for a long time for that perfect bubble. The girl appears to be on a wooden butter churn; some might say barrel, but the height and slight cone shape makes suspect otherwise. Her gorgeous Wavy hair is cinched in loose pigtails with purple bows. Her eyes speak contentment to me, as she's working on eating a huge ice cream cone with 3 different flavors. Rare do I describe so detailed, but they're just so precious down to every delicate fabric wrinkle, brushstroke, and perfect little fingers. I pack carefully and pad, as needed, to keep items safe on their journey. Please contact me prior to purchasing, if you prefer a specific company. Thank you for looking, and have a nice day.
